Question: Will you work on my computer at my home/business?
Answer: Yes, we perform on-site service within a 20 mile radius of our shop. You can view an image of our on-site service area here. There are some services that are only performed in the shop.
Question: Why is my computer running so slow?
Answer: It isn't uncommon to hear this type of question and there are many reasons for this behavior.
- Viruses, Trojans, Malware, and Rootkits are the most common if your computer is acting slow.
- The hardrive becoming full with music, videos, documents, pictures, etc.
- Needing more memory installed to keep up with newly installed software that starts when the computer starts.
- If the browser seems to be the only thing slow then it could simply be that the browsers cache of websites visited needing cleaned.
- A bad MFT(master file table) - regular defragmenting doesn't fix this. We have special software to fix this and many computers have this problem.
- Processes running in the background..
Question: Why doesn't my Antivirus software get all of the viruses?
Answer: Antivirus software is made specified on what the developer atunes the software to find. No antivirus software is 100%. There are other programs out there that can work together with your own antivirus software to help get what it doesn't. Most extra software to use with your main antivirus software may come with a learning curve for yourself and teaching yourself how to stay safer on the web.
